Our History

ERGATIKAT was founded in 2008, but our history begins more than 70 years ago.


The KIOUSIS group of companies, based in Larissa, was initially active in the transport sector in 1947 and established itself in the field as the company developed in a pioneering way for its time. 

In 1975, the transport company merged with “Konstantinos Potamias” Transport and expanded its activities throughout Attica and Central Greece. 

Utilizing the know-how and experience as well as the logistical infrastructure it has acquired over the years, the company dynamically enters the field of installations and maintenance of telecommunications projects in 1997, initially creating the transport and telecommunications company “Panagiotis K. Kiousis – Removal & Installation of Machinery ». 

In 2006, the company “Panagiotis Kiousis & Co. OE ” was founded, which undertakes installation, transport and de-installation of telecommunications equipment and machinery. 

In 2008, the company ERGATIKAT S.A. was founded, which is now active in all sectors of telecommunications and construction works, undertaking projects that cover a wide range of services

Konstruktion is named for the first time as one of USA’s Best Managed Companies, which recognizes excellence in USA-owned and USA-managed companies with revenues over $25 million. In 2009, having won seven years in a row, PCL is inducted into the Best Managed Platinum Club.

2019

Driving Cnahge

Konstruktion publishes its first Corporate Social Responsibility report, detailing the company’s efforts to lead by example on sustainability and drive change in the construction industry.
2020

Commitment to Safety

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Konstruktion’s dedicated health and safety teams undertook initiatives to keep its workers safe, both on job sites and in offices, over the course of an unimaginable year.
2021

Shining a light on a new way to design and build

We establish Konstruktion Illuminate, a highly collaborative design-build process that is revolutionizing the real estate development lifecycle—from conceptual design through project turnover.

40 years of redefining what’s possible

Konstruktion marks its 40th anniversary thanks to a steadfast commitment to its core values, a belief in challenging the status quo, and the strongest people in the business.
